Our Journey with Brillo continues

You know when you pray and pray that you’ve made the right decision, when you lie awake at night thinking about it and second guess yourself? I do that a lot.

Tonight I received an answer to my prayers and with that answer a very generous gift. I am so grateful for this gift and so thankful to and for my daughter Elizabeth. I am so humbled. It brings me to tears. She and I have been through so much together, some really tough times.

Brillo’s surgery is Thursday. I am keeping positive that he will make a complete cure. He’s lying at my

    1. Thank you Judy and Baby! We’re scaling back our after work activities so we can go to bed earlier and get lots of rest. I am taking some time off work, too to keep him quiet.
I’ll keep everyone posted on Brillo.

    1. Brillo is sleeping now. He’s doing great! Up and down the porch/deck steps carefully. He’s tipped over a couple of times. That startled us a bit. He has lots of bruising and some swelling. The site is clean. He’s eaten 2 meals and gone outside a few times. His energy is low of course, that’s to be expected.
I’m so happy we decided to go ahead with the surgery and grateful for you all for the support!
I have posted pictures somewhere on this site. I can;t find them though..I am not the most proficient picture poster in the east! 🙂

  5. Brillo is doing great! We went to visit hiom last night after work. He tried to get up when he saw us but couldn’t. It seemed he was trying to figure out why he couldn’t. His tail wagged a little when he saw us. My heart melted of course.
I get to take him home this afternoon. It will be an adjustment for all of us, most of all Brillo.
I can’t wait for him to be home. I’ve prepared his bed for him and his kitty siblings are very excited! 🙂
I’ll post more tomorrow when I have time to put more thought into what I want to say.
Brillo is quite the trooper!! Pics to follow tomorrow!
    Thank you Jerry!
